Finally another UE game that will actually be optimised, people need to stop blaming the engine for sloppy developers
Does it? I've seen those "cutscenes"
Please Sean, go to sleep, take a break.
very good game for those that are on the fence about it, great narrative despite the silly name and lots of replayability with story choices
not to mention Metal Gear Delta and Path of Exile 2 season 1 a week before, there's just too much from now till october!
No thank you... I'm good
Aliens Fireteam Elite was my GotY in 2021, single player was kinda bad but playing that game 3 player with friends was so good and really challenging on higher difficulties
Massive shout out to Aliens Vs predator 2 (2001), a dialup lag filled fun mess in multiplayer and 3 great campaigns
This might go down as one of the most unnecessarily hated games of all time, I remember when this came out and I loved it so much, I took it for what it is, a different direction of devil may cry with more vulgar writing with cursing demons and a foul mouthed protagonist, the gameplay was better than any action game at that time with slight nods and insults to the old Dante not taking itself too seriously, it was fun and that's what's most important
Unreal Dev here, you are mostly right, its an intensive engine with a visual coding practice that's heavier on CPU's than just using C++ (which most devs will use both in tandem) but UE also has lots of features to help you identify problems like this, such as a memory grid system that shows you to view all your assets and code and what takes up too much memory plus a lot of other helpful tools, I would say with your average AAA title its laziness on the Devs part but when someone is ...
Depends if you mean the next great game with a score of 90+, then sure thing it's great, but if you mean the scope and impact on the industry that BG3 or Elden ring had then.... no
You hit the nail on the head, I think the reason 6-10 are considered the best is because they all excel at something unique and stand out
6 is very much the majora's mask of the FF series, it has a massive cult following and has the best villain
7 is the face of FF and a general entry point into series and the first 3D FF, the materia system is 10/10
8 is the dark horse and the most adult and the junction system is the most complicated out of the series (my pers...
That's not how you spell Mass Effect 2
I don't even think Warrior is the issue, I've just started endgame maps and I seem strong enough, its the dumb Honour system in trial 3
Trials 3 & 4 are absolute dogshit as Melee
This makes perfect sense, I'm late 30's and AAA games are getting worse (with a few exceptions) so why waste my hard earned money risking a AAA title in 2024 when only 1/100 games are gems, I'd rather watch the first few hours on a playthrough on youtube, on a rare occasion when I think its worth £60/$80 then I'll buy it
But the rest of the time I'm watching speedruns of my favourite games or Long plays, so I fall under this category
Watch it perform better in sales lol
Games better without Hitstops, It makes the game faster, There I said it...
...I don't think I've ever ran out of MP except for the very first dungeon that teaches you the game
I don't even disagree to an extent, if every game was priced at $80 and was on the same quality as BG3 or GTAV then I'd have no issue with it, but in a world where Ubisoft and EA exist and companies are spending 8 years making games like concord that's very unlikely that even 5% of all games made would be worth $80-$90
Honestly my GotY, this is great news!
