We should give the people linux. I'm sure they would have no problem installing everything themselve?????? Colony, older people you know have a computer? would they change from Windows to something else?
No, look at Metal gear solid 4, gt5 and ff13 there where all supposes to have come out in the first year. So why where they advertised so early, because ps3 had nothing else. If it weren't for vaporware, ps3 would have sold alot less.
When it's a ps3 "opinion": it's "flamebate" "antisony" "developer's fault" etc... But the same type of "opinion" for the 360: "it's true ps3 is superior". As far as I'm concerned, 360 delivered and I've a great 2008 linup. ps3 full of delays, and as not delivered yet!

Did you know when buy a computer you can say no to the free copy of Windows. You can get linux instead or buy a Mac. Everybody complains about Microsoft but in the end everybody choose Windows.

people bying the Wii are not all new players. Most of them owned a PS2. I know a couple of relatives that had ps2 for there kids. Now those kids want a Wii. Stop dinying fanboy!
The 120 million install base for the PS2 wasn't all hardcore players. Most of those people (I know alot of them) where family, child players. All of that install base is going to Wii. PS3 and Xbox 360 will not get them this generation. And for those who don't want to admit it Wii is #1 and is in the same war, because is a big part of the PS2 owners were not Hardcore gamers!

All the casual gamers that the ps2 had are going to Wii. In 2008, all the new players Sony hopes to have will go with the Wii. Leaving mostly hardcore fans split into 2: Xbox360 and PS3.

ps3 as the best lineup for 2008, because more than half of thoses games will be push to 2009! You should say ps3 will the gratest lineup from now to 2020.
What other company gives supports and patchs like M$. Name another company that made a better OS. One that I can buy and everything works. Don't say Linux, because I tried it and you have to do your own support and driver installation.
