The Wii U pretty much is the Gamecube 2. It did away with the casual waggle controls of the Wii, and it's visuals are just a bit below Xbone and PS4. I really hate the graphic whores of today. The Wii U looks leaps above the Wii. Far more so than what PS3 is compared to PS4. The only thing keeping the Wii U down is the lack of Nintendo first party games and maybe the price. I think it would sell a lot more at $250 especially once Mario Kart and Smash come out.
I don't see people paying $100 for games ever honestly. Even if it's with a special VR getup. I also don't really agree with him on video games still being the same as they were 20-30 years ago besides MMOs. It's not like VR will really make playing any different, only viewing them will be.
So I suppose it really will be how PS2 and fat Xbox was. Interesting how the tables have turned. I look forward to seeing if the PS4 will have the same amount of awesome games the PS2 had.
It's so awesome when I buy a game from Steam and have to deal with yet another program just like Steam to play the game I thought I was buying solo on Steam.... oh yes so awesome. If by "rip it off" you meant remove I would have agreed.
At the moment I highly recommend staying away from Windows 8. Currently I cannot play a single game that has Games for Windows Live attached to it. Very annoying bug with Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant not being able to install.
The story is the last thing I care about in a game like Diablo. I just want them to make it have more lasting appeal. The gameplay needs to more like 2.
I want the Vita version, and I most likely will end up with that one. But the PS3 version does have a good bit better ground and hair textures. Honestly though on the small Vita screen you really won't even notice.
