They're both fucking ugly.

Nintendo isn't the Disney of gaming, or anything else for that matter. They're a company on it's way out of relevancy and the hardware market.
Plan on trying the evga hybrid waterblock on mine.
A 10? Give me a break. There are FAR too many things that have to be overlooked to give it a 10. 6 years after the 2011 demo and the game is visually far worse. It's a port of a game for their last-gen system with almost no improvements to it. Performance issues from frame rates to poor docked mode issues. And the list goes on. There's no way that many reviewers can honestly say this is a 10.
Exactly why I've chose not to buy it. I was going to be a day 1 purchaser but if it needs to be delayed because I am presumed to be a pirate then I'll wait a little longer and fulfill their expectations.
It's the closest you sheep are going to come to having an actual glass screen on that overpriced plastic 720p joke of a tablet.
The more they keep playing these needless charades with the pc release date, the less I'm interested in buying it. Went from a day one buyer of this game to a wait and see.
Looks pathetic. More thought was put into the UI on my keurig coffee maker than there was on this thing. I definitely have more color options on it.
The nvidia shield says hi.
4 different endings so it does have a replayability factor too.
It's all I've been hearing since they sold out of preorders. If iirc the $600.00 launch ps3 preorders sold out too and we all remember how "successfully" that model sold afterward. This all just fanboys that will buy anything w nintendo's name on it, ppl w disposable income that like to buy the newest tech and scalpers that are positioning themselves to profit from nintendo's constant artificial supply shortage schemes to ramp up demand. The switch will b collecting...
exactly what I'm thinking. If it was the new tegra pascal chip they would have been bragging about it.
There's nothing brand new about this technology. It's a gimped nvidia shield tv. Except instead of a controller and remote you get waggle, a 720 screen, downclocked chipset, nfc to scan your happy meal toys and the privilege of paying a hundred dollars more. Honestly won't be at all surprised to see someone get BotW running on the shield not long after it's release.
If someone asks you " if you had to be stranded on a dessert island with 1 female, who would it be?" And your answer is " Dora the Explorer " then by all means, buy this happy meal toy machine. I'm sure Jared would too.
@quent you could say the same and I'd agree. It isn't worth it.
@unknownbystander bragging about your dual 1080's and rejoicing over a 720 screen while you have nintendo's corporate schlong down your throat is as impressive as showing off a 65" 4k oled tv to your friends while you proceed to play a movie on vhs. I don't brag about my i7 and forget about gaming in 1080 or 2160p so I can play games on a plastic box w happy meal toys instead.
Lol, noticable difference? So you think it's a coincidence that they are both using 6.2" 1280x720 displays? It's far more likely that they are recycling overstock displays from the dumpster-fire that was the Wii U. Counting on their fanboys to not notice or care. Looks like they were right.
It's lipstick on a pig as far as I'm concerned. Sony shit the bed with their designs for the PS4 slim and pro. I'd prefer the launch model over this any day.
Goty edition plans will be cancelled just like Dragon Age 2 goty edition was.
