How does this show that valve cares less?

Their servers are flooded with low quality mods that no one uses, They offer a way for creators to make money off their mods. Bethesda is taking 45% of the money, and $400 is easy to make if you have quality content.

Seriously the only people upset over this are poor children who don't seem to have a job. Everyone who creates mods is perfectly fine with this.

And the only "modder" I'...

I just completed my first raid last night, and honestly I could do without. It was something to do with Crotas sword and a giant eyeball in the sky. And honestly if we hadn't had 2 people sub in who knew what to do we would have never figured the damn thing out, and honestly it was really annoying to do in the first place.

While I do enjoy the game I don't think Raid content is something I'll continue to look forward to.

Valve doesn't get 75%, They get 30% and Beth gets 45%..

Valve runs the servers, hosts the game and hosts the mods, as well as advertises the mods.

I think that's pretty damn fair considering the low quality of most mods.

And now that devs are started to openly support people making money off mods the community is pissed they may not get free things anymore..

Which is pathetic, they are only mad because now they might have to pay for something when before they didn't, and they didn't donate.

Very few people donated so far to regular mod sites.. You think they are going to magically start now.

I'm sick of people bringing up something they never actually do.

Just like I covered in the other posts, other modelers and real people in the industry are for the move.

They may think that 75% going to steam is too steep which may be the case, but paid modding is supported by the people who actually make the mods and the games. The community who wants free goodies are yet again the only ones upset by the idea.

Now this is something I can't wait to get my hands on to try out.

Good luck trying to complete turn 5, 10-13. It's pretty much impossible to do even turn 5 in ff14 with a PUG, you need a dedicated group.

As for secret tricks, yes there are. Playing the market is one of those nice little tricks, same thing for crafting. As well as actual dungeon and raid content quick completion.

And yes it does matter how slow you are, you won't be getting top tier raid gear if you are a slow player.

Then why attempt to keep up? MMO's are usually worlds that constantly update and the end game content is only for those who actually put in a lot of hours to learn the content that is there.

If you play for maybe 1 hour a night and none on the weakends you won't be doing the core of the game which is raiding. MMO's 0 to max level is all about learning the game. Everything after requires far more effort.

If yours full of entitled little children like you I would much rather stay in the ones I'm currently in. Full of sensible people who like to get credit for what they create and not have people constantly insult and belittle the creators.

seriously? "Greedy" They made the content, the only greedy ones here are you the end user.

Good point to stand on, So far it seems like the only people in a uproar over this are those who make no mods at all but simply want free things.
