This is an IGN leak, and despite what you may think of their journalism, they usually only report on rumors which have circumstantial and substantial evidence to support their validity.
So even if a console has great games on it, you'd consider it a rip off because it's not very powerful? Today's "gamers" are disappointing.

sway_z, thats your opinion. I'm really looking forward to lots of the games in that list, and I could care less for Crysis 3. Thats the most overhyped generic franchise this gen besides cod. Though 3rd party support needs to improve, I could honestly do without. The legacy of the 64 is based on a few super awesome titles, and I'd be satisfied if that were the same case on the Wii U.
The Wii wasnt a great console but it seems like the author focused his attention from a lot of really great games. Like he mentions NSMWii but doesnt mention Galaxy? It's just a little off and comes off as butthurt.
How is the Second Amendment antiquated? Last time I checked it was only last century where dictators killed millions of people after taking their guns away. Every statistic point to the conclusion that more guns equals less crime, and indeed in places where gun control is strict you have more violence with use of guns. Don't let your emotions take control over logical reasoning. I'm not defending the NRA just the second amendment.
Look at Sony's situation right now. As strong as their PS brand is, the ps3 bled out sony from the losses it took. You cant say that was a good business model. Sony's trying to make this gen last as long as possible because they're just recently recovering from the losses. They are junk status right now. There's no denying the tech will be more advanced. 4K, however is just overkill. It's not the same situation as the previous gen. By the time 4K tv's become affordable...
Reading these comments depresses me. I dont want the ps4 to have 4K because I want Sony to succeed. People here approve of a $600 console? Really? Stop being so selfish; Sony needs to balance affordability, and at that price they will most definitely fail. Its a shame that Xenoblade wasnt on many game of the year nominations simply because it was on the Wii. Nobody admits to it but everybody knows it's true. Amazing game
This is a problem. We need to start glorifying "hardcore" and "triple A" titles as if they mean something. Objectively Crysis is extremely generic. There are many other third party titles I'd rather see on Wii U. This is partly why games have been at a creative stagnation for a while. Because we consumers fall for these marketing terms so easily, even wanting a shallow game on a console in order to prove something.
Huh... either the system is more powerful than thought, or the Gamepad is really expensive

Nintendo is very secretive about the games released on their platforms; Watch Dogs, for example, is pretty much confirmed but hasn't been announced. They probably make them sign NDA's.
