true the hardcore market is actually pretty niche just ask the pc burst of the mid 90's.
You dont think it is odd that the "hardcore" are mostly between 18-30 males? that is a pretty small demographic when talking about the whole picture of what gaming is.
we will see if this sells enough if a sequel is announced. If a sequel is announced usually they made a good profit
it really isnt that bad for such a niche game.
we have to remember Call of Duty for wii sold less than this and became a million seller a little while ago.
well VC was a great game and although it didnt have crazy numbers there is a rumor of a sequel so.
The nes packin would be sweeeet but what i really want are unlockable charcters to use in head to head mode.
Either that or give me a mode where i can just repeatedly just knock people out with little effort. lol
i wasnt saying that i was saying how there are alot of games that appeal to certain people. There is no sense in bashing someone elses choices just because they are different from yours.

Funny how people still say core, casual etc. This game is core to someone just like Call of Duty is a casual game to people who would rather not play it.
btw the ps3 and 360 are more niche than even the pc, atleast pc casual games have a big following. Most people dont know this.

i feel its a different way of gaming. People view this as a bad thing because they feel they always need to play realistic shooters or third person action games.
Playing only those type of titles gets boring which is why i have all the consoles except psp.
Some may not be so lucky but variety is the greatest feature of video games.
