Hello. The Nintendo Switch is a VR machine and is the reason why the insiders are excited. This one machine is going to help bring VR into the mainstream. This will be the gateway into VR for most families.
It is called the Nintendo Switch becuse it switches from a touchscreen tablet, to a handheld gaming system, to a console to a VR system. This is also the reason why the joycons have motion controllers. It is for VR. This is also why they keep calling it a "game changer"....
I agree with you. My friend thinks that you have to have a ps4pro to use the VR. Bad timing, the ps4pro is not needed. I think it is one of the worst upgrades ever. Way too small of a diffrence to justify. Why the hell is there no 4k bluray player sony? Thats where you lost me.

Is this an example of "fake news"? I have a PS4 and it gathers dust, but thats because I do other things. My Wii U gathers dust for a whole diffrent reason, because its left on all the time. Last night I played Mario 3d and was reminded how much I live this system.

The main reason it gets played everyday is Hulu, Netflix, and youyube and the other is Mario Kart. I bought the system when Super Mario 3D came out and was blown away with that game. Master Piece and feels like SMB3 to me.
Whats odd about the Nintendo wii u is that it is a solid system. Instead of getting negetive comments, It should be recognized for great hardware and function. The gamepad makes games like Mario Maker in a league of its own. Netflix and hulu works very well with the pad. The system is quiet, small and plays all the back catalogue of wii games.
Games like Mario Kart 8 shows that it is a next gen system. There should of been multipads but thats my only complaint.
The Wii U delivered on everything. True backward compatibility. Great lineup of games. A system that gets played everyday in this house.
The problem is that it couldnt be true based on taking games on the go.. It wouldnt be a game changer because it has been done several times in the past. Turbo Express? Sega Nomad? The Game Axe took games on the go and outputed Nintendo games on a regular screen. Even the shield did it so its nothing new and guaranteed to not be what they are talking about.
Also there is evidence. Game publishers making the same game for the Oculus Rift and the Nintendo Switch exclusively ...

The Nintendo Switch will come out day 1 with VR as a selling point. This is one of the major reasons it was designed like this. The screen detaches into a headset. The Joycons are motion controlled and is for the VR simular to the move controllers.
