Im liking it. I don't stand my old ps3 up lol :) So i can see that being a hassle. Also on the heating aspect Sony does not sell second grade equipment. Apart from that its a nice looking mat finish i was never expecting it to have firmware 3.0 lets give it to them ahead of every ps3 don't think so. So many good games on the way and this is just another cheaper way for those gamers that want to play to access that.

Five 360s all failed on me. That's straight up as well atm i have a ps3 and another xbox360 but i hardly play the 360 for the fact remains after that amount of bad luck. It feels bad playing the f**king thing. I'm not shocked it over 50% failure rate and anyone that says other ways are trying to make themselves feel better for there purchase.

Also with the launch of the Slim if that comes about if they price it fairly i can see a massive rush for it this Christmas. Ive got a 50+ collection of games for my PS3 now plenty of EA games among the collection. I can't see where this people dont play games on PS3 sh*t comes from. I find equal amount of people to play with on ps3 as i do with my xbox360. If this price drop comes round. I have like mates all over the show gonna get the system aswell. Its on ups from there.

I think if Sony goes ahead with a price drop they will see a mass of people picking up the system. Anyone i have ever talked to that owns an xbox has always came back and said I'm not paying that when i can have this. But what happens when that excuse no longer exists. Exclusives a plenty Internet free and a bluray player come on. Doesn'T take much thinking to know Sony will win out in the end.
I'd pay on PSn store for a one time downloaded emu that will allow me to run my collection of PS2 games on my ps3. But the main problem is atm Sony are still marketing the PS2 it is releasing new titles and it still expects it to shift units. Until the PS2 dies out i can't see the emulator coming. Id say its another year are two down the line. But I'm sure it will be coming it makes good business sense. Till then im boxing my PS2 collection of out of the way and safe.
