I wholeheartedly agree but I still find what they did appealing. Man, 32 bit pixeled CC would be awesome.

Depends on what you're reading TBH. Amnesia can be quite terrifying if you've played that.

I half agree. I say half because the movies were kinda like that too, and in that regard I think it captures the source.
They failed on nearly all fronts with 13 but even with all its many faults it still manages to deliver some fun. In particular the battle system I find to be fast-paced and engaging.
