To anyone commenting about it, the source is being edited into the article at this very moment.
None of those things are exlusive to Call of Duty except Undergrown, and that's going beyond the similarities of FortressCraft and Minecraft.
FortressCraft is in the same GENRE of MineCraft but this is like Activision sueing EA because Medal of Honor looks kinda like CoD.
Sadly though, the press agent for ProjectorGames posted that they're being sued on Twitter.
This is in no way a ripoff of Kevin Butler, it's a natural progression of the original Glados first ad for Portal 1.
See but the thing is, unless G-Man throws Freeman into the future for Episode 3... Him and Alyx will be long dead before Chell wakes up again for Portal 2. So it's entirely possible we can see the aftermath of Episode 3 as Chell in two.
We all know we actually won't but still, there's a chance.
Words cannot describe how awesome I hope Ep3 will be
Author of the article here, when I said Five minutes to sign up, that even includes the download and install time for XNA.
@Shadowskill: DjArcas's Copy Protection works quite well actually, but there are a few out there that figure out ways around it.
I'm sad to report that not even the pirate from Lazytown can make this good news :(
Gotta love Stephen Merchant.
I would report this but since you're already approved, you forgot the E in slime
I direct you to mr.selfdestruct's response below mine.
@Kran That is the only real difference, the suit. The guns look and handle like CoD guns that have been tweaked to be overpowered. You handle like Cod.
My point is alot of FPS games feel/look similar.
Just because the majority of the internet is only aware of Minecraft and not of the other two games that it based itself off of doesn't give people the right to shit on a indie dev who's doing his own thing here.
How about:
You spend more than five seconds looking into the game to see that it's just another block-building game and not a direct Minecraft clone.
Crysis 2 looks and plays alot like CoD, do I go around saying Crytek should be sued by Activision?
>Implying IGN was EVER respected as anything other than a place to get game-breaking achievement tips and fanboy arguments.
For the guy who reported this.
A) I posted this yesterday when it came out, but it got buried underneath 200 stupid posts so I had to repost...
B) This story is about Gabe, not Steam Guard specifically. It's like reporting someone for talking about Bobby Kotick when someone's posted a story about Activision existing.
Alot of tbe movements were almost instant with a controller because of the short distance the stick needs to move, the Move has to travel a little bit further so there are a few more chances to screw with the animations.
My favorite parts are when they pause while doing something like with the cabinet.
@kvnb That totally explains why they made a Ps3 version! Dur
It's a technicality, Crytech absorbed Free Radical when it was announced they were going under, they all work for Crytech now and don't forget, Haze's online worked just fine. The game itself was shit.
Finally got this approved, it's getting harder and harder for approvals nowadays.
Because it's the sites's fault that the translators suck, right?
