Now see, comments like that are pure fanboy nonsense. I just did a quick filter on metacritic for games that have scored 70 or above (which most anyone would agree would be considered "good" games) and it returned a result of 113 games.
So please, stop with the "no games" BS. It's old, it's tiring, and it shows a lack of seriousness.

I actually thought they mentioned Heavenly Sword WOULD be one of the games discounted. I think I saw that on Sony's E3 presentation...
When SE said that FFXIII will be coming to the US and EU at the same time, couldn't they have meant that the X360 version will be coming to both locations at the same time?
That doesn't mean that the PS3 WON'T be coming out earlier, just that the X360 version is set to hit both territories at the same time.
why it matters how a movie turns out based on whether an actor in the movie actually plays the video game that the movie is based on. That honestly confounds me...
So, playing the game will enhance his acting skills? I suppose it could possibly help him "get in character", but hell, someone else who played the game could feel him in on what's like or for that matter he could just watch someone else play the game.

The MAIN reason I went with Sony this gen is because their online is free. I, personally, have an issue with paying for something that should be provided free. I have never played any pc "pay to play" games for that very reason.

From what I understand, Sony's new SKU is going to be the only SKU in N/A (and possibly everywhere else too). So, there will be only one 80GB console. Unfortunately, imo, it won't be BC and it'll only have 2 USB ports. Basically, it's the current 40GB console with an 80GB hard drive.

Yeah, I know some of the reasons why EA has a bad reputation, but from what I understand, they've got new management and have started to turn things around (at least from an employee treatment standpoint).
Things can change, but no one wants to give them a chance it seems. They are *gasp* a business, not a social benefits for gamers entity. They are going to do what is in the best interests of their shareholders first and foremost.

I have no vested interest in EA, but most of the people against EA can't even form a cogent argument why they dislike them. Oh, some do make valid points...

I actually thought you were posting a fairly good, non-biased comment until I came across this... "Which will buy the multiplatform titles on the 360 because those are better in 99% of all cases."
