I played Red Dead on the PS3 and though it was incredible... did you? Get that fanboy crap out of here.
Sank 200 incredible hours into it... got every trophy, and bought every dlc... something I never do for most games
The game never dropped frames, it never was sub-hd... it was gorgeous...
The game was incredible on all consoles... except for the PC, cause they do not have it... which is a shame.. everyone has to play this game..

I think the fact Im not that excited is because of the small scraps of info we have on it... but if its the mature take RDR had, and I feel that same emotional connection with the main character of GTAV like I did with Marston... you bet your ass I will be excited for GTAv

Agreed... RS is incredibly talented... I just finished Max Payne 3 and though it was great... MP is a bit iffy though

I'll give you a good example... Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood... when I heard it would have mp I scoffed saying it doesn't need it...
Then I saw it and I went OMGWTFBBQ...I was so hooked, looked up every bit of info on it, watched every shaky cam vid of it... pre ordered it so I could be in the beta...
It was one of the best MP's of 2...
Not really.. Amy Henning supervised the story in all the Uncharted's, and a good number of the people who made multiplayer in 2 stayed for 3.
But still in Naughty Dog we trust. Very excited for this game
yeah, the only reason Im playing mp is for the trophies(Im a trophy whore).. don't really like it too much.
The single-player is fantastic though, and its my third favorite story based TPS after Uncharted 3 and 2(Yeah Im an uncharted fan)...
But Max Payne is much darker than the Uncharted's, and I think its a good change of pace for me
One word of warning though.. there is this strobe effect to the gameplay, that gave me a headache.. ...

A lot of people are excited for GTAV... and Im going to say it *GASP* Im not that excited for it that much...
I eventually pick up GTA... but those are games I play to escape, and just kill everything. But with RDR.. it was so different.
I got it on opening day, and man was I amazed.. the story telling, the environment the characters...RDR had it all.
I love stories in games, and RDR had this emot...

They said the game will be a "wide-linear" its more open than Uncharted, but not to the extent of an open world game... the best example I could think of is Bioshock...

Thats the drill for most multiplats, but I think the wait is worth it. Mods, better graphic settings etc...so yeah I think the wait is justified
