Its because they never had anything in development such as Gaikai. Sony will have the upper hand when it comes to streaming older games.

Went to youtube to see Xbone Cod Ghosts gameplay playback options: 144p, 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p, and LOL yeah right!
720p 30fps and lower will do that.

Now say this happens: 2 companies come out with similar systems but one is more powerful and the other is easier to develop for. At one time Sony was stupid enough to think Cell would act as a cpu and a gpu at the same time. Developers hated the idea and therefore they added a Nvidia gpu to make it easier to make games for. The idea was to get 3rd party devs to make games for the PS3 and not have enough time or want to spend the effort to make games for the 360. This obviously back fired. All...
