but in this case you really get what you pay for and spending the cash for a ps3(blu-ray)player is well...just the smarter thing to do,just for the benefit of being future proof with the firmware updates ,EVEN YOU DONT OWN AN HDTV YET its better to be prepared for the day that you do buy one.
