Hello, this is a JAPANESE game. 95% of games In japan have TONS of reading and text driven stories. Americans like animated cut scenes because they think reading is a "chore"
and it really becomes apparent in their public school system.

Trophies are more of a "status symbol" to me I think.
I don't chase trophies, I just let them unlock naturally.
I had a person add me just get a trophy for portal 2.
That was annoying. This person also platted L.A. noir day 1
I doubt these types of "trophy whores" even enjoy or fully immerse themselves in games or a good story.
