I think he worked on a software unlock for the iPhone's early Bootloader which previously could be only done with testpoint hardware unlock.
His work on the iPhone isn't just so you can pirate games and software, for the ps3 yes but not for the iPhone.and yes I agree it isn't a right thing to do, each company should get money for all the energy the put in their games.

Sorry buddy but the sales for macs have increase drastacly in the last few years, you'd be surprised how many people at my uni play Starcraft 2 on their macs. But I could be bias cause everyone uses macs cause we're all taking graphic design :p.

I think the game was alright, nothing mind blowing. But I do think red dead redemption had a big part in it. I mean it's hard to sell copies of a game when I high profile game is released on the same day. Then again i could be wrong, really who knows.
