If they make the Visible Ranking system similar to Halo 2 (been mentioned before they were thinking about this) and bring back the smack talking either in-game/post game instead of booting everyone out in 3sec after the game finishes then I'll be all for it.
agreed. people just like to complain for the sake of complaining now-a-days. would it have been sexist if the girl was the gamer and tried to convince him to put down...lets say the football...and pick up a controller?
The internet is a sad place.
Same here. Stopped playing after about 6 months or less. Mostly because they severely cut the social communication between teams (felt like I was playing with bots) and no visible ranking system to keep my motivation up.
At least a few months ago 343 announced that there would be large scale battles (like 32 players or more) and having a multiplayer reflective of Halo 2!
I would think they also made Halo 4 for the XB360 because of the larger install base in order to produce greater sales. Period.
Can't you say that for any device period?
Overdrive isn't my taste and fable I agree, nothing can compete with their first title. Everything else afterwards felt like a Sims game and could hardly put any effort into beatin the game (fable 3 i was able to get through the whole game with my one of the weapons I started with smh haha). If they make an anniversary of Fable 1 I'll get that. They need to do better with future plots/main stories though.
I think people are just too picky now-a-days. I wouldn't put PC in the same category/genre with consoles. If a game comes out only for PS or only for XBOX (but still available on PC) then it's exclusive. Period.
That said, Titanfall is exclusive to the Xbox brand. Sure, it's for the One and 360, but you can't get it for any other competing console. That's why it's labeled as exclusive. PC has nothing to do with the console market. If it did, then Halo ...
Sad seeing news about porn and nudity via the ps4. Basement dwellers need to step outside and get a girlfriend.
LOL you mad bro? (at author)
Oh....Maria.....explains a lot now haha
Haha wow some kid was crying while writing this article. A lot of his complaints are BS. It's so easy to counter-argument his article, but I'm not gonna waste any more time as it is. Smh!
Hahaha that is pretty funny. Haven't heard of a TV with a brick before :P I'm just not tech savy I suppose.
But yes, totally agree. It just sits behind the TV stand for all of eternity.
Sure. I see what you mean. Internal would always be better than external. But at the end of the day, if the difference between the 2 doesn't handicap the performance of the system, then there is no issue. Just not worth bragging about. Unless you are placing a console so high above the ground that the brick ends up dangling in the air, then I see no issue with or without one. It's just not a selling point in my perspective.
if the console is just going to sit under/next to your tv, why worry about a brick you may never (or rarely) see?
I don't hear people complaining how laptops have power bricks...I know they're not the same thing, but a laptop is portable where as the xbox/ps4 are meant to stay in your living room (or wherever in the household). It's not like you're having to lug it around with you...
I mean if a power brick is such a HUGE inconvenience then la...
@JeffGUNZ
This is what I'm thinking. Who in their right mind buys a new console without any internet at all? In my opinion, that is a small minority. Are people REALLY willing to drop $400-500 plus games/accessories just to play a game offline?
Also with internet connections, I'm pretty sure MS is more interested in the U.S. than internet speeds worldwide. The U.S. is the primary target and always has been. I have no idea what the average internet s...
Don't confuse invention with innovation. I'm pretty sure Sony didn't invent the camera. Though they were (I assume) the first to bring the camera (eye toy) to consoles, thus innovation.
MS is no different. The Kinect is just as much of a innovation as the Eye Toy...just in a much bigger way tech-wise.
That moment when you're doing this and you accidently mistaken the monster (on screen in VR) for your sibling and...SMACK!!!
haha funny thought came to mind :)
@killjoy
Why would you picture a scenario like that? Elzer makes a valid point and I also thought the same (that the PS4 releases on 15th, not 29th). So what's up with this misconception in the article and all over the comments?
I think people completely spaced on what the question specifically asked in order to continue riding the hate train on MS in general.
That 75% mentioning...makes me think that could be Titanfall. I mean Titanfall doesn't have SP, only MP. So it only makes sense that you need nearly all the data in order to play a multiplayer base game...you know, so you have the ablitiy to play on the maps and such haha.
@ Lawson72
I think you're reading too much into the tweet and the fact you have a negative few on Halo only makes it worse.
When he talks about catering to the casuals and hardcore players, I think it has to with ranking (Halo 2 ranking and EXP Ranking). Also, the fact that large scale team fights (32 players) would be in the works for better "casual" gaming. Other playlists such as 2v2 and 4v4 game types would be under the competitive ranking s...
