I was excited about 3D, but after my wife & I talked about it, we are going to stay away from it for some of the reasons listed in this article, we made this decision prior to this article anyway.
How I think of it, my eyes become strained playing normal games for hours on end, I would assume 3D would put at lease twice the strain on my eyes as regular games. My eyes hurt pretty bad sometimes because I am so focused.
I doubt this is an attack on Sony alon...
You know how to can stick it to Gamestop? Stop buying New & Used games from them, they either make 15.00ish off new games or 100% from used.
Pick it up from Wal-Mart.. or Toys-R-Us...or K-Mart... or Target... Mom & Pop stores(if they exist). There are much better choices than Gamestop.
Power to the Players? More like Power to Gamestop.
Sell your games locally on Craigslist, take that money and buy a NEW game if you need to trade it. ...
I never owned a playstation 2, i went from ps1 to pc to play everquest... so i have not played many of these games.
That does midnight launches.... Wal-Mart... learn it love it.
Get rid of XBL/PSN Cards & have people just ask at the register, you get your code from them. this would eliminate all those pesky cards.
They all have to do one thing, backwards compatibility.
IN a heartbeat but alas I do not have the cash.
I'm not a fan of him either Joel.
This reminds me of Serious Sam, game was lots of fun very casual. I'll have to see more about this title if I want to pick it up, but currently I don't think I will.
MMOs
Something similar to " cloud " gaming that Sony has done recently would be called " PSPGo ".
They even admitted it was a test to see how consumers take to an all digital platform, we all know how that went.
The reason I think our generation will not take to it is the fact we still wanted something tangible, i'm not sure how our children will take to it.
I want disc based media for my ps3, but for my PSP I only buy dig...
Wish DCUO was F2P, I was under the impression it would be. I doubt it will have the depth of other mmo's that charge 14.99 monthly... I might do it but currently I'm not going to pick this title up.
They should have made new areas/expansions for a price other than a sub fee, this would give people the choice to buy more without feeling a grip of a monthly fee.
Sorcery.
Thats if we are talking Move, they could really do something special with this game and make people WANT to buy Move. I'm getting Move regardless.
I remember them saying Qore was included in this service, do we no longer get Qore? We have to pay for it separate still?
Lag issues have been fixed sort of on BC2
Loved this cheat.
Servers are fixed on the PS3, I played for 45min without 1 lag issue.
It is out now! The store does not reflect that it is out, but if you pop in the game and visit downloadable content then visit the PSN Store from there you can download it!
15mb.
*update* I can not join any free roam games, servers won't let me connect apparently.
OnLive will flop or be eaten up by uninformed folks.
jack ass, did anyone else think during the E3 press conference when he was showing his game he came off as a complete douche?
I also think that the new Twisted Metal looked like a PS2 game, some things looked next gen but for the most part it looked like crap..
I'll be passing on Twisted Metal.
Evetually, when I have the funds in a week or two... if you have a PSP you can really take advantage of the mini/pso games.
