When I mentioned it being a bust, thats what I meant. Plus, MAG has its own niche as well such as vehicles and monumental maps. It all comes down to opinion.

At least with Killzone 2 the online multiplayer was somewhat playable. Also, Killzone 2 was not online only. With 1943, the server issues lasted a couple days not a couple months. The only problem I have ever had with 1943 on PS3 is the mic support.
You are telling me Socom wasn't a bust the first couple months? How is Socom on a whole other level when compared to MAG? Last time I checked, MAG has a lot more going on than Socom.
At E3, MAG seemed to be working fine, but the graphics were not the greatest. I feel they primarily delayed it to dodge Modern Warfare 2 and then use the extra time to tune the visuals.
I understand that you are directing that towards Microsoft, but it mainly comes down to the publishers and their decisions. Sure, Microsoft could offer them some cash, but it still comes down to their decisions.
I never even thought of that. That would truly bring back the horror genre in the gaming industry.
I definitely cannot wait to see how these developers can use the 3D technology.
If you would have watched the video, you would have noticed that I mentioned they are not fully utilizing the full 50gb possible on the Blu-ray disc. There are even 400gb Blu-rays, but I highly doubt we will see those this generation since there are very few games that even use 25gb+. Killzone 2 is on a single layer disc so that means it takes up less than 25gb of space meaning they are using Blu-ray, but not utilizing it to the fullest which is what the whole video is based on.
...
There are some PS3 exclusives that are using Blu-ray, like mentioned in the video, but besides Metal Gear Solid 4, no one is really utilizing it to the best of its abilities. Also, people wonder why multiplatform developers do not utilize the Blu-ray technology which I explain in the video.
@Counter_ACT
Surprisingly, many people did not know that so that is why I addressed it on the video.
I am curious to see what would be achieved if all developers utilized Blu-ray, although it is not possible due to the 360 using DVD.
If you actually watched the video, you would find your answer.
That is what most people think, which is one of the main reasons I made this video. Check it out and you might think differently because why would the 360 sell 8:1 compared to PS3's 2:1? That has nothing to do with the amount of consoles sold.
I am curious to see how God of War 3 will sell being an ESTABLISHED franchise compared to many of the new ips built on the PS3.
Great show Dave. I am hyped for ModNation Racers as well.
Looks like a great show. Time to go watch!
How do you know what is coming in PS3 3.00? I hope you aren't basing it off of the RUMORS.
If you watched the video, I stated that they are doing a great job bringing us content in Home, but is that really going to keep you guys coming back? I know for me, that I spend about 20 minutes a week in Home just to check out the new space or two and then I am done.
Leave a comment with your thoughts on PlayStation Home and what you feel needs added or improved.
I must say that if you are a fan of the MotorStorm franchise, both the Speed and Adrenaline packs are a must buy. If you can only get one, I would recommend the Adrenaline expansion.
Like I mentioned in the video, I would love to see them try out a third person shooter.
At E3, MAG seemed to be working fine, but the visuals were not the greatest. I feel they primarily delayed it to dodge Modern Warfare 2 and then use the extra time to tune the visuals.
