the Wii does have potential, if only more devs would start making decent games that are not for once so casual oriented the hardcore base for the console would actually grow...

Its not the outsourcing process that's gotten canned its the software sales side that had gotten the boot, the outsourcing side is E.A. mobile and is alive and kicking...
I think a patch/update can fix that stuff up, Bungie did a similar thing with Halo, something related to the online stuff which was added later on...
A question though was Split-screen abandoned to keep the quality of the game intact, would GG not be running two Killzone 2's on the same machine?
even Killzone series might meet a similar fate if it treads along the same short term money guzzling path...
people are going to talk and there is inevitably going to be a huge divide...I mean we are not exactly discussing the implications of a sub par franchise...
is always a tough option for developers and with a money guzzling franchise like Halo its even more tough, MGS at least sees the need to reinnovate the franchise which speaks volumes, only the first Halo felt different and distinct the rest two were cosmetic upgrades of the original and failed in the somewhat cohesive story the first one built up...

I dont think anyone is comparing any games here or denying the fact that GOW III looks pretty darn good, of course it will since its on the PS3 and the others on the PS2...It just goes to show that if the devs could extract so much juice out of the PS2 I cannot even imagine how much horsepower this generation holds...
they seem pretty starved when it comes to quality exclusives, and given their current state third party exclusives are their best bet...
