That is a new one. What were the most innovative games last gen? SOTC, Locoroco, Pikmin, Psychonauts, gitaroo man, lumines, rez, and katamri damacy. Most of these games with the exception of psychonauts, were made by japenese developers. Most of these 'genres' were made by japenese developers. What has western developers done so innovative this gen? Most games they make are fps, or action games with a simple rehash or gimmick (like in Assasin Creed you could climb any wall, and is sandbox), ...
I'm not trying to bias (of course I am going to bash this game) but how the heck does it get a 9.5 in presentation, with terrible framerate, and terrible load times. Oh well. Just like always Gametrailers gives a game a high score, because it is a big game. I still cna't believe they didn't mention once the loading time.

It had a couple 6's. But overall it got a good review. There shouldn't be any damage control (first time saying it) when a generic jrpg with a bad story doesn't score well. I'm sorry, if this game had a good story, it would have gotten better reviews.
And also Persona series does well and all the level 5 games gets reviewed well.
That is an incredibly low score..
And I'll get like 5 ignores for saying that. IGN gives games 8's as if it is candy.

That is the question? If the game came out 10-12 months before in Japan, I would probably think of buying it at 120 $. 2 years, possibly, it is worth it.
