if you're just a commenter on N4G, I couldnt care less. but if you're a huge media driven by professionals that have to maintain credibility, yes, it is important to put a list NOT ONLY based on your opinion. Like it or not, MGS 4 is a maestro. Not everybody loves maestro, I can deal with that. But you cant judge a game just based on your opinion.

well this is a fubar! the last thing sony want to have at this moment is leaving experienced employees!
its not the downtime that bugging me off, but the silence of sony, not capable of giving any clue to its multimillion users about what happened, not capable giving a timeframe, and worse, they dont have a backup server(???). even my company with 30+ employee has a backup server. game server is not expensive, especially on sony's side, where they asked dev to provide their own server.

no they wont put a feature. its stupid to add feature while disabling the system when the user need it the most (long weekend/holiday). and no backup server makes it impossible that sony is actually putting the server down intentionally.

gotta agree with the article. i think there are tendencies to release shorter games from different developer, but same publisher. i think they already figured it out that its easier to market a 'short' game than to create a great game that gonna stick a long time.
