You admit there is a design flaw, but you are quick to forgive them.

This is why MS will never have a better quality product, they can always count on people like you who can lower their standard and accept as it is.

To put that in perspective, the best DSL ping time is around 20ms which is nearly no lag. 22ms for a motion controller is a significant achievement

People need to realize the format war was ended it early 2008. MS has 2 yrs to adopt a BR add-on or continue on its own HD-DVD ext drive, but they dropped both..

MS was playing safe, but now they have became ignorant.

@ 3.3
Dude what are you smoking? The two screenshots were taken at a different time and position. Just look at the antenna of the first hummer, PS3 pic is clearly much closer to the building and of course the DOF will be different.

Main differences in those screens are the guys on the patio and the color contrast.

I was thinking first date buy for both SC2/D3. But with this BS, it will be first date d/l for me. LOL

So soon and yet so late.

Nonetheless, it is good to see Home finally ready for public release.

If you read the article carefully, the 68% included hard defects and soft defects (the author called this the latent defect). Hard defects refer to the units fail at nominal operating conditions. Soft defects are the one that fail at a elevated operating conditions. This could include higher temperature, higher voltage rail, and longer run time. Now giving the benefit of doubt to MS, let assume MS spec. the soft defect at 3 years lifetime, where typically the industries are spec. at >5 yea...

Seriously, how low can a human being/company go? How can any company release a product with 68% defect rate to the market? It doesn't matter if this is a console, a video card or just a cell phone. The fact is it did not pass the QA, and it should have been fixed before they put them on the shelves.

To make things worst, some gamers will even go so far to praise MS' bandage approach is just absurd. Wake up people, this is not the business practice you should be supporting. Why?...
