VI is by far the most amazing in terms of story and character development. Every character is a main character and you'll come to love each and every one of them.

try leveling up more. i'm only on old smoky and i'm level 21. i never had to use healing items when facing the boss. have you even used your tactics slots when you're in battle? I use the option "provide backup" and it works well. you probably haven't even tried giving your other characters each other's familiars to try out. Esthar's main familiar Gogo uses up too much magic so i gave her the Lemur that you get in Ding Dong Dell. She actually uses that one mo...
I think the battle system is different but nostalgic. It gives me a good vibe. The guy reviewing the game probably just sucks at using the battle system and got pissed off enough to write about how much it "sucks."

Pretty sure it's called Versus XIII just on the fact that it's exclusive and isn't taking the direction that XIII went when it went multiplat. I would hope that they rename it XV though so there's no confusion between the series.
I still haven't given up hope for Versus XIII. Yoichi Wada is the one that keeps screwing things up. And as far as I know, the reason why Versus XIII was being put on hold and "cancelled" for so long was because of XIII, and now they're making a third installment to the damn thing...

I hope that microsoft fans realize that FFXIII was in fact dumbed down because of the 360. over 8 gigs of content had to be deleted from the original game in order for it to actually fit onto 3 discs just for the 360. i understand that they were trying to expand their fan base, but that wasn't the right way to do it. this isn't an opinion, it's fact. now for some disagrees...

i think you're right about that. gamestop did say that they had the steel cased version though and i really wanted that. i got the two mixed up... whoops. regardless, i still got it :P
I went to gamestop hoping they would have a leftover wizard's edition, but they didnt. I did get the normal copy and put my preorder on The Last of Us Survival Edition though and I'm very excited to get home today and play.

The PS4 is going to be incorporating Blu-Ray as well so there's no doubt that it will be backwards compatible with PS3 games.
@below - then can you explain to me why my PS3 can play PS1 games and not PS2 games?
