One could argue that the franchise is anything but traditional at this point. I haven't actually been able to keep track of everything going on since the first game.

Sounds like half the complaining commenters have either not read the review or forget that games aren't necessarily universally liked.
Honestly, the game probably would have been great if it didn't get released under the guise of the Motorstorm name.

I don't know. I usually tend to stray away from games that have (IMO) a novelty title.
Shame, I was a big fan of the X-men Legends games, and was hoping this might be a return to that.

I wonder how people feel knowing that they've spent as much money on the DLC (assuming they bought all four packs) as they did on the game.
No OCD here, thankfully, but you nailed it. I've gotten burnt out a lot because gaming is my hobby AND my job. I know a bunch of people who are the same way and they're not writers. Tricky to get into some of these habits, but much easier when you get into practice.
