i agree all the ps3 really needs is a decent price cut, but in saying that so does the wii, i cant believe you can get a 360 for cheaper.
the games for 2009 look great on ps3 but with a slash in price sony just may see the boost in sales that they have been waiting for.
i loved ninja gaiden, i hope ninja blade is just as good, or with any luck better.

thats a bold statement, as an xbox 360 owner i dont believe the 360 is garbage, i dont think what you said is TRUE, but thats my opinion, maybe you shouldnt make a statement on behalf of all 360 owners.
despite the hardware problems 360 is still selling well, just imagine if they never had the problems they did, it would be a whitewash.

oh come on GOW2 is hardly a POS, anyway the one thing that really needs fixing is the bug that causes you to lose all your war journal progress, all my sub achievements got reset and i had to start from scratch, this has affected alot of people and it sucks big time, otherwise gears is awesome.

even as a 360 owner i have to say god of war 3 trumps all the games you just listed, thats one game i would love to get my hands on, plus uncharted 2 looks off the hook.
i only own a 360 at this point, but unless MS starts releasing some info on 09 exclusives that can truly stand up to sonys exclusives then it just may be time for me to pick up a ps3, im verry happy with my 360 but 2009 is looking verry weak.
never had it happen myself, neither has any of my friends, not saying it doesnt happen but other then people moveing the system i dont see how it could affect some and not others.
ok well yes i think the 360 has been in a strong position, but if they dont offer up some news on exclusive games for 2009 then they may be in a bit of trouble, here in NZ you can get two arcade consoles for under the price of a ps3, the arcade is also cheeper then the wii so 360 is a great option for families and kids especially over christmas.

the value only depends on the person buying the console, if you want wireless and blu ray then yes ps3 may well be worth the price tag, but blu ray players are dirt cheap in comparison, but as an all in one package the ps3 looks ok (i still think its a bit pricey)
if you are a parent only getting a console for ther kids, or just a casual player then its hard to justify the ps3's price tag when you can get a 360 and several kids games like banjo or VP for a fraction of the price...
