its s shame they didnt slash the price more here in new zealand, the old ps3 retailed at $699 the slim retails at $629 NZD.
so not a huge difference but im sure it will tempt some people.
54% failure rate is hardly fact, for two main reasons.
1. theres no way to tell if the people voteing actually own a 360, its very easy to vote negativly against a console you dont like, and going by N4G theres alot of people on here that are only too happy to make a fuss about MS.
2. people that have had issues with the console are more likely to give feedback, ive never had a problem but i fully understand the frustration of those that have.

its an awesome game, well worth the price and it doesn't even feel like an arcade game.
if they make a sequel it should be made as a full retail game with a budget to match, very retro feeling, actually it sometimes reminds me of MGS i cant quite figure out why tho.
sony have done a good job with the slim, ive been trying to find original ps3's in NZ so i can see how much they go for now but they are all sold out, i cant find stock anywhere but the warehouse and they are still selling at full price there.
just out of interest i want to know if its even possible to shrink the 360, how would they do it when it would need to have space to attach the hard drive? or would they change that too?
with all the games pushed back to 2010 and now fable 3 next year is going to be hot, kind of makes up for 2009 being such a lame year for gamers.
all ive bought this year is mass effect and a few other old games and a ton of arcade games! thank god assassins creed 2 is out soon so ill have a new game to play.
but with games like bioshock 2, halo reach, fable 3, lost planet 2, mass effect 2 etc launching in 2010 it looks like things are picking up!

yeah but 2010 is looking great, and extra time getting the game can only be a good thing.
halo 1 was good, but I liked halo 2 best, and halo 3 was alright but all and all they are all worth at least a 9 out of 10, I read halo fall of reach which explains alot of the back story before halo 1 it set up the 3 games nicely really good book.
i doubt ill be buying anything from games on demand, if they cant make the prices equal or less the the retail version then i can see this service dieing a pretty painful death.
the prices on these arcade games are getting out of control, i dont mind the occasional 1200mp game if its worth it, but i think the prices are a bit steep on alot of games.
i hate to think what the full game prices will be like in my area once the update comes.,
it also comes down to how you look after the console, personally ive never had the red ring, not naturally at least, i forced my launch console to overheat so i could get updated parts.
i own two 360's and have had no real problems, but i keep the console clear from other devices and it has room to breath.

im really getting sick of MS and the way they try to make people pay top dollar for everything they can, when the 360 came out it was all about the games, now its greed pure and simple, even arcade games are getting more expencive all the time, now they are putting the price of the arcade up? are you kidding me!
