i love both uncharted and gears, they are two of the best looking games this gen, i dont care what people say about killzone, all i think when i see that game is dull...
gears of was has great graphics, its hard to compare it to the first uncharted, they are so different, but you cant tell me levels in gears of war like the second game inside the worm arnt some of the best visuals around, but yes uncharted tops them, theres so much going on in UC2 theres always something to be ...
uncharted is probably going to take game of the year, i wouldnt put infamous on the list, its pretty much the same as prototype, neither were mind blowing.
only other game i can see as game of the year is assassins creed 2, maybe if mass effect 2 and bioshock 2 had released this year it would be more interesting.

and yes i agree UC2 is awesome, this game alone is reason to get a ps3, one of the best games ive ever played on any console...EVER.
ive had no problems yet but im not far in, you shouldn't ignore a problem and pass it off as something to kill the games buzz if its a genuine problem, i had problems with the first uncharted when i got my slim it just kept crashing, locking up and i had to wait for the 3.01 update, so i feel sorry for those affected who are trying to play UC2.
hopefully they fix the problem soon.
I own a 360 and a ps3 and I have to say why has this game not sold more? until uncharted 2 came out gears of war was no 1 for me, but now after playing uncharted 2 this is now my new number 1, its the best looking game I have seen out of any 360 game and the graphics r just amazing I cant say enough about this game, the only thing I can say if you own a ps3 go buy this game, and if u dont own a ps3 then go buy 1 to play this game, this game is worth owning a ps3 alone.
if there was a ps3 version wouldnt they just announce it? unless they are still doing some sort of deal with MS, part of me hopes MS keeps mass effect, competition is good and 360 needs top quality exclusives too.
i watched a few trailers the other night, and conviction is actually starting to look really good, reminds me alot of uncharted 2 in some ways, like the hand to hand combat moves and the way he drags people off ledges, splinter cell is looking great!
i was hesitant, i didnt think it looked good at the start, but looking at recent trailers i take that all back.
man you sound like such a loser wishing someone to die just cos they r bringing a game out on the 360 and not ps3 its just a game, its still coming on the ps2 so if u wanna play it that much go buy a ps2 if u dont own one already, in my counrty ps2s r so cheap now they cost just as much as a new release game. or may be you need to get out of your room and realize that there is alot more in this world than games. its a great game yes, and it seems to get better the further you go, the first level was cool, i wasnt blown away by the snow, but i loved the way it stuck to drake, the second level was dull, hated the stealth and the level and enemies looked rough...BUT
now im back in the jungle with sully, and that part blows me away!
naughty dog obviously have more strength when it comes to the green stuff, its all very pretty and the lighting really ties it all together.

forza 3 looks better in motion, after playing the demo you can see how much better it looks, unfortunately it doesn't show all that well in these pictures.
i played mass effect for the first time this year, and loved it, if they do it for the ps3 i just hope they do a good job, considering its unreal engine, but im sure they will get it right.
i will be playing ME2 on 360 though so i can continue my character.
I want this game to come out on live or psn I loved this game when It was on my amega 500
it will probably have a story at the start to fill ps3 owners in on what they missed, and you can create a character with a questionair that tailors them to what they should be if they had played the last game, its no big deal if you haven't played the first game.
its a shame it probably wont stay 360 exclusive, but thats the way things go, especially when EA is involved, so no surprises there.
damn the graphics are looking awesome, hope they bring out a collectors edition, something similar to the assassins creed 2 black edition would be nice!
