Yes I just replayed Alan wake and all the dlc on my xbox one, got a bunch of achievements I missed first time, AW is one game that I appreciate so much more now then I did at release, what a brilliant game! And no stuttering and screen tear was welcome!
I won't go back to many 360 games. But some classic games still demand a replay.

Gimmick, it's not the next big thing in gaming, from powerglove or 32x to kinect and move, vr is yet another gimmick, this time it's quite literally shoved in people's faces, tell me in six months how the vr shovelware is changing the game
It botheres me, infact if it's 720p then I'm not buying it, morover I'm finally getting a ps4 for uncharted, Sony seems to have a better grasp of what gamers want, xbox has lost the plot this gen, they can't even be upfront and answer the damn resolution question
I actually hope this is true, both consoles are underpowered and lagging well behind pc, I've put off getting a ps4 until uncharted 4 comes out, but I may wait a little longer just to see if there's any truth here.
Both consoles need extra juice now, or the trade off for pretty graphics is going to mean increased problems hitting decent framerates and resolution, or horrible pop in and other technical issues, I say juice them both up, pc is looking more tempting all the time. ...
Ps4 and xbox one have both lost to modern PC's who cares about the titt for tatt console wars, they are both average as hell this gen.
I don't even bother with backwards compatibility now, most games I tried run or look bad, gears judgement had awful frame rate. Especially the level where you come in from the beach, all the explosions make it crawl, nuts and bolts is by far the worst, if I want to play these games again I would rather turn on my 360 and play them the way they were intended. I'm glad emulation is there, I just don't think it works well in many games
I got sick of the idiots kids and people that seem to think blasting horrible music is cool, can't say I miss it, talking with my mates in game is far more enjoyable
Phil isn't in one to overripe and under deliver, smart money says he's playing it cool and will let dx12 do the real talking, it could be small gains. It could be substantial, but if it wasn't worth doing they wouldn't bother.
Just look what they have done with backwards compatibility, that wasn't meant to happen either, I would rather be open to the thought that great things can happen, now of it was someone like molyneux hyping it I would be hearing alarm bells. ...
That's the problem with ps4 right now, too many of its exclusives are predictable Japanese games, not buying in until UC4 and even that's barely tempting me, Sony is winning in console sales but failing at bringing quality exclusives (don't care if ppl disagree because it's just my opinion)

God I hate 3rd party peripherals, especially some of the hideous modular fans and chargers on the market,I've bought the batterie packs etc just to have them stop working after a few charges, just clunky cashgrabbing garbage, if it ain't official I'm not throwing down my cash.
sadly there wasn't enough decent poker games on last gen consoles, testdrive 2 probably had the best casino, and that was meant to be a racing game, here's hoping texas holdem etc. will do better on current gen consoles.
just bought the game, its ok but i have one problem, and im not sure if its the games lighting or my tv, say im outside on a rooftop, if i look to the sky, then point the camera back down to my feet, its like the image dimms, you see the rooftop literally get darker, same for dark interiors, if you look up at a dark area it lightens a bit, look back at the ground and it dimms, it just looks stupid.
so can anyone PM and let me know if this is normal?

wow when people like you rant on about how great ps4 is and how crap XB1 is it just looks desperate, almost fear that XB1 might have an edge so you gotta jump on and try to brainwash the masses in to hating XB1 like its your duty to do so.
FACT (and i know this will upset you) i love my XB1.
FACT i respect peoples choices, PS4 XB1 WiiU what ever you game on, i have no hate towards any console, so what ever mission you are on maybe its time to grow up and stop...
if we are talking constant quality, its gotta be nintendo hands down.
I can't wait for a new mass effect game, but I am very worried that either Microsoft or sony will try and do a deal with EA and have it timed exclusive or do a deal like sony did with destiny have timed DLC, I just hope that we all get to enjoy this game, but it is a big franchise that I would not be surprised if one of the big two does a deal and I can see this happening :(
i swear im not buying anything this company makes again, so the stupid black bars that do nothing but obscure and detract are here to stay, the framerate still sucks, and the game is just as buggy as it ever was, this patch did nothing to improve the game at all.
yes the game itself is good but the bugs kill the tension and sense of immersion that this kind of game needs, hell the graphics are horrible, there should be no reason for a game that looks so outdated to run so bad...
Just looks like another generic Japanese game, ohhhh big swords haven't seen that before! Not impressed at all.
