People didn't re-buy the PS2, it's just that it was dirt cheap. 99 bucks for a console that has a crapload of games? Worth it.
I wonder if it's too late in the generation to buy a PSP...

blu-rays are DVDs but in a higher resolution, so their playback is just like DVD playback on the PS2. online? 360 already integrated that. motion control? wii already did that. upgradeable HDD? 360 already did that. great new IPs? every console has brought them, but the PS3s havent stood the test of time like the Megadrive/SNES/PS have. wireless controllers? 360 already did that (and bluetooth is the same as wireless in every way for controllers).

Wow, got a disagrees for Panasonic's SUPERIOR TV. It's a fact, and it has the best display and 3D. It got the award for best TV at the CES convention...Phillips? You serious? That IS garbage.

Sony didn't get the CES award, did it? And Panasonic has better refresh rate since it's a plasma. And the price point of the Panasonic is better, considering its a cheaper version of the Pioneer Elite.

That's a dumb assumption though, PS2 was in the generation of Xbox. Microsoft should have learned off of Sony's mistake.
It's only going to cost more, with 3D glasses it's cheaper to make. This is a mistake waiting to happen.

You don't BUY high end, you build one. THAT COSTS MORE THAN 5 PS3s. Unless you think buying a PC at Best Buy is high end(Stock Mobo, stock PSU, stock RAM, stock HDD)...you are LOST.
