Looks like Blizzard is going the Activision route. I hate all the new restrictions, I see the people who don't have a problem with it never played the original Starcraft and have NO understanding of how they are screwing people over. LAN was a major reason SC did so well along with the public chats, clans, that authentication is stupid as hell.

The unlockable weapons remind me of Socom II & III. Unlockable skins I bet, beat Admiral mode for Feral! YES!
Knowing Zipper, they'd probably implement it into Socom 4 if people complain enough....I mean look at MAG. Neutral settings on maps were not in the game initially...look at the game now.
This is why I like Zipper, they listen...they shouldn't listen too much though.
Edit: Scrap what I said, I misread. This is awesome, Zipper returning to roots. No switching mid game. All they gotta do now is confirm the oldschool lobby system from I & II....

Naughty Dog is known to better their previous games, it is shown with Jak and Daxter. 2nd was better than the first and so on.
Good, no vehicles. I hated Socom 3 for the vehicles, tanks are annoying and when people run you over is annoying.
