I guess im just disappointed in next gen. we have seen 720p for the last 8+ years, i didnt want to see 720 anywhere for the XBOXONE or PS4. which the the PS4 has stayed above it so far. theyre trying to cover there tracks, ive posted this elsewhere but i guess it applies here too...

A lower resolution generally means that there can be more quality per pixel. With a high-quality scaler and antialiasing and render resolutions such as 720p or '900p', some games look better with more GPU processing go...
so with everything they wanted to do with the game they had to choose 900p. sounds like theres a bottleneck somewhere. im sure it wouldnt look much different at 1080p, the game looks great and is pushing plenty of polys, but after the whole COD 720p deal i want studios to try a little harder on the XBOXONE and give the PS4 a challenge. a kinect game here and there wont hurt but focus on what matters. im still sold on the PS4, give me a reason not to. i dont want my decision to be that easy.

definitely not, but ive been on the fence here for a while. i like halo, gears of war was the all nighter for a long time and titanfall looks fresh. i really liked the playstation exclusives like TLOU, uncharted,infamous,god of war,resistance, and killzone. and i know sony will keep delivering those quality exclusives. and what if titanfall comes to the PS4? do you think that will happen? and i dont know if microsoft is going to focus most of their time on the kinec...
PS4 is shipping to more countries. has more pre-orders. BUT THAT DOESNT COUNT XBOXONE IS GOING TO WINNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!

okay. they need to understand while it may not be every gamer out there that cares about resolution, but for 1080p to be the tv standard for this long, keeping secrets about it can put some gamers on the fence about a console. all theyre telling me is quantity over quality, they dont care if it runs at 720 or 1080 they know xbox fans will still take the bait. they think we would buy a pile of dog s*** on a silver platter from them.

i do enjoy gaming for what it is. but im still trying to decide on a console. and im not gonna dish out $500 for the XBOXONE to play at 720p on my 1080p, i have an XBOX360 and a PS3 for that. and titanfall and COD ghosts is coming to the 360 so why buy the XBOXONE? im leaning towards the PS4 but Ryse looks interesting, hard to predict the quality in games from the launch titles. someone help me out pls

Couldnt have said it better myself. all they do is lie. they were running PC's at E3, Ryse and Forza5 have already been downgraded from their E3 builds. wonder why. and everyone knows it they just dont want to give up on microsoft... more power to you all. I chose PS4, and all i had to do is sit back and watch microsoft blow smoke, and lie to the consumer. and they have complete confidence while they do it because they know you will still throw your money ...
