if my main issue is price how much of a factor should that weigh in my purchase b/t the different skus? are arcades fairly dependable (please no bashing here, i wanna know the truth).
as far as hdd, ive got my ps3 with plenty of 1st/3rd party games for all that. been waiting for something to tip me to the arcade so i can finally play bioshock and mass effect. i'm curious/interested about all the other things on live as well plus if that one exclusive (cant remember the name, alex...
getting an arcade tonight. anyone with advice please let me know and ill return the favor with approves.
(may have to get bioshock now too)
like if they got the main theme tied into the store and then had extra junk w/ the theme that interacted specifically for the store? like a pixeljunk monsters theme that lead you toward the add-on or its other pixeljunk bretheren...
you may be on to something there voozi
but this is a good looking update. maybe they'll hold the pixeljunk addition for a few weeks while i move on over to gta from gtp.
echochrome looks awesome. i got the japanese demo and played through a few times while my girl (who usually dismisses games) was digging it as well. music is cool and chill. if they have enough mid-difficulty levels itd be a nice zen type joint. like gardening except without all the benefits of living in the real world :)
any xbox folks d...
nintendo proved themselves steps ahead of folks by chilling it out and being smart. the future burns bright like 10,000 suns for gaming because of the wii and the new gamers and proven franchises it welds.
or something.
but you just sold me on getting the wheel. thanks!
lie was a strong word. i think im over it now and can go another few months. better play GTp while i can before the 29th!
hi, the open beta is what i was meaning with getting it.
weren't we supposed to have an open beta of lbp sometime before now as well. i understand it takes time and with the mgo debacle (though that was all konami side) sony should be extra cautious but just dont give us release dates that are unattainable.
they're mad b/c they were told they'd have it almost a year ago. its not the product, its the lie.
but have you played the game at all? its no demo. im on at least hour 6 of online play (with many more to go before i can afford the ferrari) and multiple hours of single player and have yet to beat class c (one damn track and that stupid cappachino car urgh)
just b/c gta5 will have 500% more content doesn't make this a demo. it makes gta5 that freaking huge...
how i should be taking turns on this game? its my first racing game and ill be doing fairly well but online folks with the same car as me are coming out of turns at least 10 mph faster. anyone familiar with the daytona track (yeah, im new so i like it simple) have a couple seconds to help a fella out with strategy on the turns?
as i agree that it should come out when its ready. guess its just all the hype since they announced it last year. as above mentioned, its mainly the folks keeping up with the news who even know about it but we're a pretty decent demo to worry about dontcha think?
dunno, ive been wanting an xbox to see what live is all about and to check out bioshock and mass effect. maybe that best buy gta bundle could push me over the edge and losing $5 to my gamestop ps3 preorder wouldnt be hal...
waiting for a bigger install base. i remember major plans for open beta in freaking 2007. lots of stuff to play and do but the teasing shouldn't have happened. just talk about the thing and mention it'll be out later. couple weeks before launching for sure, let us know.
can marketing folks ever learn the developers call the shots on timing. just chill and keep us from getting pissed by false expectations.
ok, back to work and then some sweet sweet prologue when i go ...
not playable, says cannot connect to server. but it wasnt supposed to be even downloadable until the 17th so maybe we get to play the 20th? :)
(fingers crossed)
then you have to pull down an update and install that as well. they already have a version 1.1.
very cool to see actual content for sure. theres a cool trailer in there as well. konami and game id process was kinda sucky but this is a freaking beta.
when you beat the demo it allows you to save your progress along with a weapon that isn't in the full game. i know this was mentioned on the ps blog but actually seeing it happen was just great. i'm preordering tonight!
i'd say the 9.2/10 is about right on. maybe higher when you take into account how much damn fun this thing is. right up there with pixeljunk monsters in my opinion...
what would the process need to be for the n4g community to drive some sort of "Official Video Comparison?"
been doing this using fl studio and xpadder, excited to check it out once he has the ps3 version working...
will i need live to run this? i'd rather save the money i'd have to spend on live for another day. that's definitely a con of the xbox (even now that i'm converted to wanting one)
