2014 is when I predicted the launch of the next playstation a few years ago only to have people scoff at me claiming it will be 2011. Where are those people now...

MS and Sony's IP's are on another level to nintendo's tacky rehashes.
It took about 10mins just to get online. Then when you finally got online there were at times some noticeable lag issues. Still worth it for the fun co-op.

you guys talk like the game looks crap. Do you really think that the ps3 or 360 can push out graphics that look substantially better than Crysis2? It is up there with the best of both consoles. wah wah wah, im so offended by crytek's statements...

I genuinely believe sony will hold out on a price cut until 2012. ps3 is selling great and they want to make as much profit as possible after the early losses on the system.
steam sales could literally double that number. It's a bigger market than what people think especially with valve games.
don't be too sure. Uncharted2 sold 4.3m as of September last year so it will have settled at just over 5m if we go buy the ps3 long legs theory. Gears2 looks to have settled at 7m. Amazon pre-orders in the UK have U3 above Gears3 and it is releasing a few months later plus the xbox userbase is bigger in the UK. Just speculation but interesting none the less. After the critical acclaim of U2 I can see this challenging Gears sales.
for graphics and the new steam cross platform play. Don't worry, I'm not a sony fanboy. I'll be playing this game on pc but I might buy the ps3 version for the better value.
yeah but they already admitted that the gameplay will be the same as the last gen games so the sooner the better. I suspect this game will settle in the low 80s on metacritic.
