Sony HAS attempted to buy Insomniac. You'd think IGN would know that. Ted Price has said multiple times TO Sony that he and the company are not interested in being owned.
They have always been an amazing studio, but they played second-fiddle to Naughty Dog for two generations.
If anyone is going to buy them...it would probably be EA. If any of the big three were going to buy them, it would be Sony.
Maybe if you changed the name of the title...people would actually read this.

I was excited when Double Fine announced Costume Quest and rumors spread that it was an MMO. I don't even play MMO's, but a Halloween MMO?!? FREAKIN' A!!! I was disappointed that it wasn't, but still love Costume Quest.

Let's be honest. Skyrim will win the most GOTY awards. Rage, Battlefield 3, Portal 2, inFamous 2, LA Noire, Uncharted 3, Arkham City, and Catherine will all win SOME GOTY awards, but Skyrim will win the most.
Skyrim won't be my favorite, I'm fairly certain. I just think it will win the most awards. Still, it would be nice to see Resistance 3 join that list.

Exactly! It's the same reason you shouldn't join a Union! You're either on strike or fired for being in a Union. They had a purpose at one time, but people took advantage of it and now, there's no reason for them.
