You know I thought that. . But then I thought what if I enjoyed it because it was the first of that formula. I think these games today are better than the original but they don't have the fun associated with a new game discovery.

Okay so tell me how do you recommend they 'innovate' more? There's only so much you can innovate a shooter before it stops being a shooter.

If they can mix old WW2 gameplay/guns with modern/future gameplay/guns they will have a winner.
Like have a prequel and sequel to a storyline in the same game and maps with old and new locations/weapons

By ZombieStalker's logic forza, gran Turismo, FIFA, baseball, battlefield, and MOST other games are expansion packs because they don't do much different.
COD has more innovations than any driving game or sports game released!!
