I could be wrong, but Cliffy B is supervising the entire movie production and script to make sure it stays accurate. This movie being a prequel only proves hes going to make sure it's accurate to the story without a doubt. It only means good things in a way, cheaper prices(hopefully) for the lesser SKUs and it keeps Sony and Microsoft driving each other to better each other which only means better consoles for us consumers. Though they need to stop focusing on bigger hard drives and a better multimedia experience and remember it's a gaming console. I hardly use my hard drive other then for the occasional demo and game trailers. So personally I think it's just a war of who has the bigger- erm... Hard drive.
This is just a rumor, but I wouldn't dismiss it yet. Ever since Enix joined Square they've been whoring out Final Fantasy like nothing else, especially Final Fantasy 7. Whats stopping them from releasing a remake of the most famous game from the series. I wouldn't mind it myself but I would sincerely hope they release it multiplatform on both the PS3 and Xbox 360.

I read the entire thing, amazingly, and I gotta say, I'm psyched! I was interested in the game before, but after reading this I can't wait. The only problem is whether I'm going to buy it for PC or Xbox 360. The 360 version gets an extra few months of development in it, so I wonder if theres going to be any extras in that version.

I disagree with him. No I'm not a 360 fanboy, but considering the steady sale numbers each month and the large number of Live users I can only see the numbers being a good deal higher next year. Not really, Microsoft hardly makes an advantage off the core. But the cost of manufacturing the 360 has gone down since they first released the 360. If they lowered the price of premium down to core's pricing then dropped core altogether it wouldn't be too bad. The cores a bit of a joke in the next gen console war.

It wouldn't be the first time a game was modeled meter for meter after a city. Hell, Test Drive Unlimited did it for an entire island.
I'd put my faith in the 360's loading times. Blu-Ray loads at 9mb/s and 360 loads at 16mb/s. When I played Motorstorm it was slow as hell for a next gen game, all 360 games I own load within seconds.
