6 year laptop runs 1080p games smoothly? Hard to believe
I'd consider buying this remaster if only it ran at 60fps. But paying full price again for the same last gen 30fps? Nah.. This is a definitive lazy port

Fallout 3 , TES: Oblivion are definetely more influential than Street Fighter and Bayonetta, IMO. Also I think Portal 2 was a much better game than the 1st one. Especially as they decided to choose Dark over Demon's souls.
I agree with everything you said. Games are released not finished basically these days, you still need to download a big patch in order to play it as it was intended, so physical media loses its purpose of plug'n'play. And while I was a supporter of digital content last gen, now with new consoles games weighing about 30 GB each, it's become a painfully long and tedious process to download them on my not the best internet connection. I consider Shenmue not just a game but a work of art. Really one of the best games of all time. To this day I haven't played a more immersive and ground breaking video game. Though if you play it now on the Dreamcast you can be turned off by the akward controls and unholy loading times. It needs a modern update
I seriously doubt Witcher 3 will be revolutionary, judging by the last installment which was rather ordinary. Fallout 4 however can be that game. And consoles did get Crysis 1 already but the problem was it looked as if it was run on very low settings PC wise. And yes I seriously doubt PS4 could run it on the high settings 1080p/60fps and the game is 7 years old already, my Gosh!
It'll start when Sega gets back in console business and release a successor to the Dreamcast with Shenmue III as launch title. Sure it may sound funny and impossible but what I mean is that Sega games on DC to this day feel more next gen than anything by new consoles, because the game play was fantastic back then and there were lots of really innovative ideas. Yeah but we all know that nowadays Sega makes shit as a 3rd party.
