Interesting that they got their review up around 18 hours before the 1.0 servers were up. There was no early access to the 1.0 servers for game journos and the last test server build was different from the actual 1.0 release. So they basically shoveled this out based on test builds so they could get clicks.
Obsolete as in not compatible with new hardware, not unusable.
Except you can lock the PS4 Pro to 1080p in settings.
I see you didn’t read the article.
You should probably read the article. It’s not saying micro transactions aren’t an issue, but that the ones in this game are being misrepresented.
Not sure why people take stuff like trademarks and patents and run with it. Glad this article looked at it more critically.
This guy knows what I'm talking about.
I'm not sure how this is clickbait as I felt it was a fair review of the game and a fair score given the issues I had with it. Also, I can assure you we receive no compensation for review scores, positive or negative, and engage in absolutely no paid editorial.
However, you are entitled to your opinion and I hope you have fun with the game if you feel it's right for you.
Actually, we only got final review code in at about 8 PM EST last night. I had played the game thoroughly on EA Access and through the beta, but I felt as though it was better to spend the day playing the final code and coming to a more educated and firm conclusion than just throwing up the review at embargo because that's what's expected.
Meanwhile you can't even be bothered to discern that this article is about a woman that broke the world record.
It works better than the original release on modern systems, but it's still pretty rough. It at least has the music from the PlayStation version though, unlike the first PC release which had a pretty crappy MIDI soundtrack.
