I recall a Sony executive saying BC wasn't that expensive.
Bottomline, BC was drop in favor of HD remakes.
Im going to agree with piroh, unchartedgoty and wicked. BC should be standard for all future next gen consoles.
But all this PSP/PS2 HD remakes business doesn't scare me for the future. I can't imagine Sony releasing PS3 remakes for PS4.
While I have confident that PS4 will be BC with PS1 and PS3, PS2 is I have doubts. I think will have PS2 games on PSN instead.
THQ sucks.
I hope they fix the gameplay, the servers, the AI, my player mode, animation, graphics etc.
I don't how 2K11 got a 9.5.
Overall I enjoyed my copy 2K11 but the engine needs cleaning or a reboot.

anyway , its a shame Smackdown Here Comes The Pain(2003) was the last good wrestling game. its also a shame their using the PS2 engine for today's games. lol.

I already have DMC1 DMC2(missing girl disk) and DMC3 that I can play on my BC PS3.
Anyway, DMC1 was the only good title in the game for me.

I bought Driver earlier this year znd of course it looks good. on PS3, but I alsoplayed it on a PS1 system on regular TV and it looks great to me.
I have to it test again though.
Dreamcast sucked. It released too early considering PS and N64 was on fire during Dreamcast 1st year. And of a system called PS2 came out a yr later.
The tech was there but where was the 3rd party support? EA of all people skipped the Dreamcast completely. Alot of the 3rd party companies who did release games were just mostly ported PS and N64 games.

Sony can't also miss this holiday season and wait untill 2012. NGP vs a 3DS with improved hardware/software and price is not what Sony want to face.
