Only dummies are close minded. People keep bringing up uc2 because its a prime example of adding a good mp to a game known for its great sp, so why wouldnt people mention it. Looking at the few videos ive seen mp looks kick a$$ and is welcomed by me. Sony always impresses in E3 and always either has the best showing or is in top contention. As someone mentioned above they show actually game play of quality titles while they control it during the show. Other competition usually shows videos of controlled gaming environments and actors lol and mocked up videos of game play. Sony as usual will show great game play and have one or two surprises which is enough for me.
As for them focusing alot on Vita why not? More than a mil...
Once again another example of how this day and age mediocrity and popularity rule over quality. Sales figures mean jack shit and are not a testament to a games worth. Star Wars has been proclaimed to be utter trash while Witcher 2 has been heralded as a great game yet is selling less. Star Wars should be another nice addition to the morons who play sales, not games. Although it seems both arent selling at the rates expected.
Yes its all about replay value to me and trusting these devs who have never let me down (always been quality). I believe the mp will be a nice addition to this franchise and knowing Santa Monica will come out awesome. Look at how uncharted 2 came out (yes diff. devs but you get my point) it was the first try for mp in the series and did not take away one bit from that stellar sp, if anything the addition of mp with the great sp is what made this game the most highly acclaimed game ever rackin...
I thought the graphics were well done and it felt decent(albeit a bit too arcady for me). I like the customization features as well. I think ill be buying this game as i enjoyed the demo.
Starhawk beta was a blast and graphics and gameplay is awesome so im in. Sorcery another purchase along with Resistance for my vita!!!! Win Win Win all over.

omg!!!!!! this is going to be awesome!!!!!!! I guess ill be replaying GOW3 again soon to get back into my savage mode lol But seriously the mp pick looks sick and im not against the prequel stance of it. Mp well done in a game is always welcomed just look how Uncharted 2 turned out adding an mp (arguable one of the best games ever!!!!).

Reminds me when atari jaguar was announced to be 64 bit devs said specs were powerful blah blah blah ended up being straight trash and tht 64 bit cpu capable of nothing. It was one of the shortest hardware life spans ever with garbage games.

As if Rayman games need alot to look good lol These cartoony games are many and easy to produce on any system (and could look just as good on say a Vita) compared to more technologically advanced games such as a Gears, KZ or other. Games such as these dont move me one bit because it brings nothing new to the table or show me the capabilities of the wii u. I dont care for gimmicky controller support either. Ive tried maybe 10 games on the android market claiming to be FPS or RPG games and all i can do is laughhhhhhhhh because ive hated all of them. They all had no substance and the controls were just annoying at best. Suprisingly the only game i really like is Angry Birds space which isnt a complex game and something to play in spurts, but nevertheless fun.
Not too mention the devs working on Sony exclusives that have up the bar in gaming in general in terms of graphics, gameplay etc..... I mean damn Uncharted series with it cinematics gameplay movie like feel. Killzone and uc series with its moving backgrounds and dynamics during mp gameplay (i never saw that in any game until i played killzone 2 and saw while i was playing mp the train or railway killed me). Now UC3 has the moving plane, train etc..... Mag with its huge number of players in mp...

By the way adding mp isnt an obsession for most, but an evolution in gaming. Mp,s werent around before bcus games simply didnt have the online capability to do so. A welcomed innovation in gaming if you ask me.
