It means your to late to get a code from play.com. They stopped doing codes last week as they had only a limited number most probably. I`m hoping to receive my email from Play.com as i pre-ordered a couple of weeks ago, knowing my luck though they will be over subscribed.. lol.
I Disagree, My PS3 has been taken to Sony and replaced once in under a year, my brothers also and my neighbour.... i know 5 people in total that have a PS3 and each one has had to replace it, this includes the 40 + 60gb models.
By the time it comes out everyone who was going to buy it on the PS3 would have bought it already. Like i said its just a game, and the PS3 is just a console.
MGS4 on 360... Why Not? No seriously........

Its just a game.
Not every kid gets what they want, affordability comes into it so if a parent see`s a console that plays games, and has pretty much the same games for a cheaper price they will buy that console.
I.e
"Can i get a PS3 for christmas" Says kid " Oh but what about the 360, its £150 less and has the same games, that means you can get 4 extra games with it" says parent "OH COOL YAAAAAAAAA" Says kid...

You have parents who know nothing of games, their kids ask for a games console for Christmas... Do they buy the PS3 for £300? No they buy the 360 or Wii which is less expensive. Not everyone is as well informed as people who have a keen interest in computer games and look for info on the net.
If Sony blow this holiday season, which by the looks of it their going to in terms of shifting consoles they will not be leading in the console market this generation. The only thing that will save Sony now is if they drop the price..... and before anyone says "Blu-Ray Player" first and foremost its a games console, and the competition is cheaper.... by a rather large margin.

Unneeded Animosity!?! Then what will the people with no lives do with their time?? Fighting over Pointless Frame Rate Comparisons and how much AA a game has is the only thing that stops them from getting a "real life" Girlfriend and social skills, obviously this is not what they aspire to. Master "Chef" and Ball-Sackboy is the only joy they have.... I say let them have there petty niggles. :o)
That`s nonsense, The PS4 will use a Blu-ray drive, you can bet it will have a faster reading speed as well. Sony have invested alot of money and time getting Blu-ray to where it is, there not going to throw away that in a matter of two consoles generations. As for no Optical Drive at all, They`d need to fit it out with one hell of a Hard Drive, also you`d spend days downloading the games if your Internet speed is rather slow, and what about the people who don`t have Internet, what are they go...
