So since PS4 = (CPU) consists of eight x86-64 cores based on the upcoming Jaguar CPU architecture from AMD. The graphics processing unit (GPU) consists of 18 compute units to produce a theoretical peak performance of 1.84 TFLOP/s. 8 GB of GDDR5 unified system memory with a maximum bandwidth of 176 GB/s
So that's between a GTX 650ti and GTX 660 and we have to count the fact that the GPU is on same socket of CPU SO it's an APU means that raw power will be limited becau...
This is a nice video and with that I can say that I'm a proud player of BF3 and veteran of the battlefield series
Well the other games that do this are
A: Bad with poor scores
B: Not developped by 3 developpers
C: made with low budget and poor advertising
LOLLL wow.... kinda blatant recycling
It's a shame for a game that is supposed to be High Standards and so much budget involved...
"A game which is undoubtedly going to be played for a long, long time to come" ... lol can't wait to see wich one ill play the most between BF3 multi and CoD multi
As a PC gamer and Ex-PS3 owner I have to say grats to Naughty DOg. I was a huge fan of Uncharted and Uncharted 2. Wish I could own a PS3 for a couple of weeks for Uncharted 3. Gamers are well served at this time of the year with UC3 getting good scores, Batman around 9.5 average scores and BF3 getting an average of 9.3 in scores. Skyrim and MW3 are not even out yet and we are getting top notch games! Seriously Grats to Naughty Dogs and have fun PS3 players. I'll have fun tonight with BF...
DAmn... pure Sex on a screen!!
Yea that's why in MW2 without beta the game was full of balance issues with Killstreak and full of hackers...
But hey they don't have any bugs ... It'S a ****** 4 years old engine. I do hope they don't have any bugs...
COre I5 750 at 3.8ghz
8gb Corsair Vengeance Ram
GTx 480
1tb of HDD space
60gb of SSD space
I'm ready for BF3 at ultra settings
WHAT ??
@latinalover
The news has been updated to high settings not medium settings. So if you have a gtx560 which cost 150$ you should be able to crank the settings to High. Which is nice! ;D
I don't think the number of cores matter that much... If you have a quad-core you re fine. I think you should say for example that your GTX 570 PC will do fine. But I don't know if you have a good card like that.
SEE you in the Battlefield PC version
i5 750 at 3.7ghz
Evga Geforce Gtx480
8 gb of Corsair Ram
64gb SSD
and etc etc
This will be fun !!!
Ima Own them all !!
LOLLL about Uncharted...
Uncharted is 1/1000 of Blizzard games
Nice 360 footage
Well others engine like the CoD one... well it's STATIC. Means: not a lot of physics, no at lot of fancy stuff on texture side in other words... no dynamic stuff. Same goes for Halo. You want a good sandbox engine, go with Cryengine. But my point is journalists that tries to bash on BF3 cause of some static stuff that happens on screen (which is known to be a bug see kotaku preview on that matter) is biased. Because they don't make that kind of arguments when they are talking(previewi...
I don't know why they are talking about plastic stuff not moving when shooting them. Or light doesn't explode when they are also getting shot at.
Let's apply this logic to CoD or HAlo .... Atleast BF has an engine to talk about...
Anyway... we will see who is the most played 6 months after launch and 1 year after launch. That's what makes a it a good game. If people play it for years thats a good game. Right now CoD is turning like madden. While madden has no competition CoD has BF3 facing it. So yea in the end if CoD doesn't get some really new gameplay stuff... it will get destroyed. Maybe you don't care about Multi but multi is what sold Diablo, Counter-strike ie Half-Life, starcraft... Multi is what mak...
4,000$ ...LOL these articles...Judging from those specs its not over 2000$.
As for "modesign" comment : No you don't get the same results with a 400$ PS4. It can't run this game at 60fps with 2560x1440 resolution,4x AA and 16x AF ultra settings.
Sorry but you get what you pay for
