Nintendo would suffer, but not as much anymore as they would've 3 years ago. They have a strong control over the casual market, you really think these casual gamers care about mario, or know when the next mario game is coming out? I know people that have Wiis and don't have a mario game.
in regards to galaxy(I'm guessing mario) that's a pretty good game and I agree with it being a great step further. Metroid was also good, however, after those select few games(heck include zelda) I see nothing but wii resorts, wii sports, and a bunch of other party games and dance games. It seems the only thing you can get out of them is another mario game, while other consoles have incredible lineups with variety in genre and great online networks. I see where you are coming from tho...
I expect MW3 exclusive content(fail), and as always the big halo announcement, along with some kinect stuff. MW3 I really couldn't care less for, but I really want to see what this new Halo will bring that we haven't seen before.
well said.
My first console was a Nintendo 64, never bought another Nintendo system after that, I grew up, Nintendo didn't. I stuck to my PS1 and PS2 and a bit of Halo on the xbox which I then just played on a pc. The PS2 just had an immense library of games.
I've played about 5 games on the Wii, after I visited my little 11 yr old cousin and my friend's 7yr old kid. They found those games fun for a bit, and I just got a headache from how horrible and rushed those games felt, not ev...
I doubt any Spyro from here on will reach the quality of the original PS1 version.
So that makes a good E3, yet another sequel to halo, some footage of an overrated multiplatform shooter, and kinect? Kinect is aimed at casual gamers, of course it'll sell, it broke records? Yeah due to MS' amazing marketing,
Dark Cloud 3= awesome, although I'm not sure if that will happen. As for a new jak and daxter game and a sly cooper 4 I'm all for it. In regards to Syphon Filter, that would be nice, but I think we'll probably see some MGS announcement instead.
I have to buy a new PS3 soon, ASAP, so this would be wonderful timing, I just wish they could lower the price of the Move Bundle as well, but I guess that's too much to ask for.
"Remember the last game you got extremely hyped for? It probably didn’t meet your expectations." Oh but it did, don't know of any PS3 games that were shown at E3 that I was hyped for and let me down, maybe because I don't get overly hyped as stated in the article. You want to talk about too much hype, look at MW3.
"If there’s one aspect where Kinect has a evident leg over the Move, it would be the dance genre." And I hope that stays that way...LOL. Nah, I hope Sony can tap into that silly casual market, while keeping the core gamers satisfied with all the great exclusives.
I just figure that I don't completely understand the concept of that feature, as I'm yet to see it in action. The way I'm reading it teams getting hammered will be handicapped somehow??
EDIT: @LOGICWINS, I guess that makes sense, I hope everything is balanced out right in the multiplayer.
Don't like the power play idea, if a team is getting owned it's for a reason. Everything else I'm happy with regardless, especially the improvement to the cinema mode.
@FasterThanFTL. I agree, my hopes for a better Modern Warfare game is now quickly dwindling.
I agree with Uncharted being number 1, the best TPS I've ever played.
How many Kinect fans know what E3 is? nuff said.
EDIT: And some titles look exciting, but will they be executed right?
Rather have EA have em instead of Activision..>_>
*sigh* facepalm. I really don't think you can do much with kinect with hardcore titles, but I'll wait until E3 to make up my mind on that. Still, I'm not sure how in the hell you would like to not use a controller or anything tangible, unless they make a separate accessory, but that would defeat the purpose.
Yay! On June 7th, I can now watch all three press conferences. I was worried that one of them would be on June 8th, since I have to be somewhere on that day. Can't wait to see what they're up to with Wii2.
"Lots of cool things"? That's it? Thanks for the hint..now on to more speculation.
