I think all companies have done their share of "revolutions" for gaming, we've benefited from the big three in different ways, and I'm glad to see Nintendo wasn't left behind.
*Sigh* I just want to see GTA5 and Agent.
COD is a rent for me, just like Madden.
Reason most of you don't wanna hear a lot about Move is probably because you expect casual subpar games, well since I can't recall Sony announcing a bunch of casual games like other companies, I actually DO want them to talk about Move for a bit. I would like to see them announce a core game that somehow resembles that little preview with the sword and shield game we saw when Move was first announced.
I personally couldn't care less, if I even bought the game, I doubt I would pay to be part of an "exclusive community" that likes running and gunning. MW3 is a rent for me.
Agreed, Nike Kinects would've at least looked better.
I just think it's a matter of opinion, I can argue that Kevin Butler adds good humor, and somehow he manages to give a quick overview of the game being advertised. It's short, funny, and gets the job done. On the other hand, a commercial such as the one for Fable 3 could come across as,almost trying too hard. I think Sony's approach for advertising is now the best they've come up with this gen, but like I said before, it comes down to opinion.
Lets not get ahead of ourselves here lol. I'm nonetheless excited to see what nintendo's new console will look like.
Nintendo has shown that a console doesn't need high quality graphics in order to sell. As for the motion control advantage, they would just have to build more into it. I think with the success of the Wii, they don't need a console that is more powerful than the xbox360, let alone the PS3.
This all seems really contradictory. Why would Nintendo offer such a powerful system, when their best bet is too offer a slightly more powerful system, with 1st party launch games all over again? do they really think that the userbase they gained with the Wii wants high specs???
I'm gonna admit, I'm a bit worried about Sony, hope they come through though, make no mistake if they mess up at E3 it's gonna be 2006 all over again for them.

I played so many PS1 games, FF7, MGS, Spyro, Megaman, Legend of Dragoon..such an amazing lineup of games.

I think you're a core gamer as long as you don't buy into cheap gimmicks, and we've seen a lot of that this gen. But in the end it depends on how you see it, I for one can see the obvious difference between a casual gamer and a regular.
