They clearly took the online only approach to safeguard from hackers ruining diablos online economy. They would of made starcraft2 online only if it was just to try and prevent piracy. Reason I believe there doin the right thing is because I've seen diablo 2 go from a great legit game to a hacked pointless piece of crap. Items went from being worth dollars to pennys.
Most people arnt raging over the score because nobody cares, there all playing d3 and could care less wuts goin on around em. Meta score isn't gonna keep diablo from being amazing and selling millions more .001/10, won't change its success one bit.

Game is amazing.
People need to get over it. This will prevent hackers from destroying the diablo economy and reduce pirating. The game is running perfect as of now so there's no need to continue being pissy about the hurdles in the beginning. Game is amazing and meta score means nothing to a blizzard game. Millions will buy and play for years to come.

Wow pull the panties out of ur asscrack. Blizzard are at the top for great developers and games. Your gonna beat max payne and then its gonna sit in ur shelf not touched forever unlike these blizzard titles u like to hate on. You think they wanted this to happen? What online based game like this doesn't have hurdles in the beginning. Its all fixed and runnin perfect now so there's no more need for hate. Max payne can't touch what is diablo.
U people are crazy, diablo 3 is the shizzle. To me i never really payed much attention to diablo 2 story. This one actually seems to have 1 and its pretty good. Not sure where all this hates commin from. Hate all u want this game is gonna be played by millions for years to come like all blizzard games. Go back to cod.
Consumers are gonna wanna see a legit review when all the bs is fixed. You cant review a games multiplayer stability at launch. Not one thats only online and of such a massive player scale. Once everything is golden the game will recieve either high 9's or the blizzard usual 10's.

Umm hes right. I have no idea why so many disagree. Constant internet is a safeguard to keep hackers from destroying the digital economy of diablo 3 like they did d2. Face it or not diablo 3 is a multiplayer game first and formost, so there making the right decision regardless if theres hurdles to overcome in the beginning.
