I really wanted to like Anthem. I'll admit that I played the open beta and that actually sold me on it. It looked good at the time. Then you played through the story, which was fine, it gave me enough to want to know where things were headed in this new world. The action was fun, the music was really good too. I'm approx 9ft from the ps5, I hear nothing. Hell, there have been times when I've been standing within a foot of it after booting it up and not hear it turn over other than the beep and the visual lighting change. Without either, I would guess it didn't turn on.

Spiderman was my personal GoTY, I enjoyed the DLC but it like the Witcher 3, you didn't have to buy it. If you did, you got a semi-epilogue for some minor plot points in the base game. I found the side mission stuff in all the DLC to be really obtuse both standalone or against the similar missions in the base title. The Screwball missions were just annoying in the DLC.

I own a amazing 55in 1080p television that I bought about 4 years ago. I don't care what the new tech is right now, or how beautiful it looks, or if the cost is coming down; i'm not spending hundreds and thousands of dollars AGAIN for another television, not when what I have is fantastic already.
I think that's the issue, most people already own hi-def T.Vs, and now the industry is asking them to buy even more of the same thing....just better?
I mean great, but they could have avoided all of this by simply stating (in regards to the home consoles) that we will be closing down the ps3 stores for that console but forwarding all purchases and for sale games to current-gen consoles.
