Has anyone played this on pc?.. what did you think of it? It looks awesome! I love the moody atmosphere, the story looks interrsting and im alwAys game for some good puzzles/mysteries to solve
Games all over the shop. We'll be playing them, sooner or later..
The original Dark Souls design works book was awesome! The concept art was just incredible and i especially enjoyed the interview at the end with Miyazaki. I will be picking this up, and hopefully in the future i can get a bloodborne design works as well!
wasnt gears of war shown off? Why havent i heard much about that?
I went crazy when she started immobilizing the mechasarus with the cable launcher... it reminded me of Star Wars when they hogtie the AT-AT Walker + Gulliver's Travels. Hopefully we can use those cables in a multitude of ways, like a trip wire trap, or maybe environment traversal
Sackboy, yarny, Wooly Yoshi... I want to play and then cuddle you all
Couldnt agree more. While its expected for an rpg to have some sort of inventory management, its also expected that there be a balance b/t play time and menu time... as of late im spending too much time trying to navigate through a poorly designed ui and managing inventory in the Witcher 3. Guess its time to upgrade the saddle bags
Do we know how long this will be exclusive to XBOX?
Am i the only one who is somewhat annoyed by the npc lebels and talk prompts that litter the screen? Such an incredible game, but the individuals in charge of designing HUD and UI for the Witcher 3 failed bad
Great eye for detail, i hadn't noticed the brace that drake does when running into a wall in u3. Im in the middle of my TLOU grounded play through and just noticed that Elli shields here eyes, squints, and shifts her head when you shine your flashlight in her face!! SO COOL
ND IS COOL
Drakes crowd maneuvering animations/dialogue were very impressive in the E3 demo, seemed to have working gun holsters as well! Gotta love ND's attention to detail, i still remember being blown away by seeing Drake run his hand across a wall in Uncharted
Ratchet and Clank was one of the first games i ever played and the first game I played to completion on my ps2, i am so glad we will be seeing these two return on PS4. Lets hope this causes of resurgence of ps mascots, i would die from nostalgia if we got Sly and Jak on ps4 as well
I know the difference b/t HUD and UI... http://i.imgur.com/88FoLcV.... Do you really need button assignments, a mini map, and a mission objective on your screen at all times? Do you need your health on screen outside of combat? Do dogs chickens and hares need labels? There are smarter ways of presenting HUD, and just because a dev thinks we need all that hand holding and guidance on screen (at all times) doesnt mean we actually do...
Not really since you can pop up the HUD at the touch of a finger. Take a look at the HUD from any recent sandbox and tell me if you actually need all that crap on your screen 100% of the time. Some aspects of HUD are obviously more important than others, that's why i said HUD needs to be more adaptive/situational (health bar only appears during combat). But different players have different preferences, i just prefer less screen clutter and think HUD is an area that devs can improve.
I'm starting to wish i would have got the pc version, i cant read the UI text on my TV and i cant stand all the npc labels and speech bubbles. Devs need to work on HUD and make it more adaptive and dynamic. The duashock 4s touch pad can register a touch and a click, why not have the HUD only pop up when i place a finger on the touch pad and fade out seconds after i take my finger off.
Completely agree! I think only two games ive bought this gen have come with something other than a season pass/dlc slips, GTA 5 and Witcher 3. Oh and don't forget those bad ass stickers!
I could tell that it was loaded with goodies just by the weight of the case! It was so refreshing to open a game up and have it be filled with content (on disc and off), rather than being asked to purchase more.
My biggest complaint with the game so far is the ui font size and the cluttered hud. Also does anyone know if you can disable the npc/enemy labels and prompts in the Witcher 3 (ps4 version)? I know chickens are chickens and i know hares are hares...
They didnt show up here in the states! Oh and ps europe give us americans that sweet bloodborne theme with yarnham in the background! It seems to only be available to players in europe:/
