This is on my purchase list, just for the laughs :)
The co-op is looking like it could be hilarious
Blitzed is da man. Here's a bubble.
Agree, a steal. Not that I want to pay more than I have to.
Re Prologue, I am still playing it and this is getting me through the wait :)
People who never played a GT title do not understand the way different cars behave uniquely in this simulator. You can almost feel it. And I am not talking other-racing-games-differently (shallow differences - obvious in results and execution but lacking in the different experience of DRIVING the machine).
The thing is, no one of us can see clearly into what future is bringing. Do you think that 25 years ago anyone would call what Netflix is a great idea? Or Pandora? Or Facebook? Or twitter (even 5 years ago)?
You see, we are unable to imagine the real usage of such system as we are presuming it will be confounded by today's content and toady's methods of communication.
Maybe future games will be so big, they will use thousands of globally distributed servers to...
well said Alfa
in a true spirit of a driving simulator user
yes. Imagine... :)
the wait for this one can not be too short... But unlike FF13 (sorry to be seemingly off topic) I do not feel burnout (no pun). As the time passes I could not be happier for the fact that Polyphony Digital are not rushing GT5 to meet some stupid deadline. It is not to say that I am not going insane for the damn thing to come out already :)
This one will be the mother of consumer driv...
@deathracer
I hope you are being sarcastic.
If not, then... well... I give up...
Having played the original and the Fallout 2 back in the day, I tend to somewhat agree. But, new age requires new things. IF for nothing else, Fallout 3 has to be applauded to for bringing the franchise back from the dead. New Fallout products will follow and I hope they are a bit more true to the spirit of the first and second one.
Enough already with these games. Boom Blox redo, Singstar redo, dance crap redo, sports redo... I don't give a fried potato for those.
Give me "Move" and give me "Move" enabled KZ3, Fight Night Round 5 and a good RTS (like Starcraft II, that would be super playable with "Move")
I do not doubt that one day this will be the only way we play. Gaming delivered as a service. Everything in capitalism wants to be a service so that it can be charged by the second of usage. Also, it is foreseeable that gaming rigs of the future would be housed in server hosting centers not in your flat/house, but, and it is a big fraking smelly flabby pimpled BUT, this will take some major upgrade of the communication infrastructure and because of that this system is way ahead of its time. ...
They both look awesome but different (graphically) and IMHO, it is a matter of taste or artistic inclination which one of those appeals to you more.
For my part, I do not consider these games to be in the same arena.
I loved KZ2 and it is a pure-blooded shooter. KZ3 looks like more of that but better.
Rage looks like an experiment with a lot of FPS in it.
Not that I would be getting any of the MS hardware in the first place, but if I imagine I would then:
As I read somewhere, the two players cap is because of the hardware limits (the cpu in Kinect can process the data that can handle tracking of two humans).
Personally, I do not see a problem there.
Really, when my friends come along, I would want more than two jumping around and waving their extremities in my huge gaming hall (medium sized living room). Not.
Lame. Should be viewed only by family and friends of the author. The ones that do not tell you gained too much weight over the last 6 months.
@ThanatosDMC
Chill mate. Your act as a beauty pageant judge is done man. Now back to the real life.
I see no problems in his setup for the air circulation. I do not plan on getting a new xb360 nor do I have one but please people stop the BS.
As someone already said, in case of overheating the system shuts down. Same is true on desktop PCs, Notebooks, Servers, and by an edict of the Cyber God, on consoles as well.
There is nothing wrong with the new 360 (compared to the older one - there can just be some hardware issues solved)
Good point but your message did not get across well as you assume everybody who defends Sony's action is Sony's slave. Shame on you ;)
@MysticStrummer
come back when you are 12 - It is in human nature to understand how things work and yes, it translates to opening up your console and fiddling with it. And it is in human nature to brag about being able to beat the system.
@UnwanteDreamz
Sorry you lost your last job in the Bush administr...
Of course PC is the most hardcore. Still, I shifted all my gaming from a PC to PS3/Wii.
Here we go again. I already spoke about this some time ago. Let us not talk about this guy or if anyone bought the PS3 for the "Other OS" feature.
We need just to have two things in mind:
1. Having the other OS feature enabled Sony to categorize the PS3 as a computer and not a game console thus evading taxes.
2. If you sell a device with a certain feature set - you should not reduce it after the customer has payed fairly. What is next? Someo...
Nintendo has had the best hand-held platform year after year. No surprises here. 3DS will rule. Would buy it day 1 if the money has not been a bit scarce lately (damn you 2010 with all the crazy super games so far)
I like it. Looks good. Hope they resolve hardware issues as well.
By the way, loose the $ in MS... We are not in 1995...

Bravo sirs. G27 or G25 would be my choice as well.
